‘Something huge is coming’ – Popular Wolverhampton pub to temporarily close its doors
The change promises a ‘fantastic new-look pub’ with ‘great food’, entertainment and live sports.
A popular Wolverhampton pub will be transformed into one of Marston’s’ Grandstand sports-led pubs in November.
The Golden Lion in Cannock Road, Fallings Park, will be closing its doors for a couple of weeks for the refurb.
The change promises a ‘fantastic new-look pub’ with ‘great food’, entertainment and live sports.
In a post on social media, the team behind the pub said: “SOMETHING HUGE IS COMING TO THE GOLDEN LION…
“Behind the scenes, we’re already getting ready for something very exciting!
“On 8th November, we’ll be closing our doors for a couple of weeks…And when we reopen, The Golden Lion is going GRANDSTAND!
“This is going to be a BIG new chapter for The Golden Lion, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got planned!”
The pub is also recruiting staff for its kitchen and front of house teams.
